The land is my In-laws, the rights to the orchard are someone elses, which we have got the ok to tap the trees and do some thinning... I dont understand how you can own property but someone else has the rights to a chunk of it and you have to ask them to use it... but what do i know???
I think I am all set on carpentry end right now, I know I have to jack up one whole side of the shack ( the uphill side has setteled about 6-8") I have one major structural beam on the far end that is rotted away, two big sections of the floor are rotted I went through it a number of times on sunday, and we have two roof rafters rotten, I could not count the number of floor joist that are rotten, missing windows and doors.... I just need to find the materials to repair or replace the rotten ones, but i dont want to use standard lumber, I would like to replace it with rough cut!!!
