85 gallons of sap was processed today over 12 hours, about 55
Stored from a few days ago and 30 that ran today. Today’s run was a little less than 1 gpt. My first real test of the RO Bucket and barrel evaporator. The RO seemed to make about 5 gph 50%. The evaporator made about the same but could likely do more.

This is a hell of a run looking like 3gpt in 24hr period. Sugar content is kind of sad 1.6to 1.7 Guess we need a hard freeze up and not just prologue 30 degrees I can see this is a high volume low sugar year

Only got about 0.75GPT yesterday. Going to tap some older lines (new drop lines) today that get morning sun.

Joe, our Jericho woods hardly ran yesterday while Westford has run all yesterday, froze up last night, and running now. Jericho still not running really. Weird because Westford is generally a bit colder for us.

Sap has been running 750 GPH since 10:00 this morning. Should freeze up by 7:00

We had good flow in short windows this weekend. 30 hours we were 1.3 g/t. Sugar was 1.8 with the help of 100 buckets. No complaining here. Stopped cold tonight at 5:00.

Not a drop from my trees today. Never thawed.

It was snowing on & off all day. Added another 100 taps today on an area that gets morning sun. My current area only gets afternoon sun & this weather has been keeping the flow low and inconsistent. Hopefully this addition will level off our flows.

My wife and I went to the Adirondacks for the weekend with some friends. We left at 2 pm Friday and everything was frozen up. Returned home today to find things frozen up and that we had collected 1700 gal. since we left. Looks like it thawed late morning Saturday and perhaps ran all night. Either way, over 2 gpt in a little over 24 hours.... I'll take it. Sugar at about 1.9 according to my brand new hydrometer.

It flowed so good Saturday.....best run of season at 35 degrees!! Went to releaser and they were running half flow before I even turned pump on, of course being stuck in a 3-4 snow drift for hr and half was handy......thank God for big storage tanks! Roots finally thawing out in woods that helps
