Ken, Much above zero or above freezing? I haven't checked an extended forecast lately but I had heard it was going to be colder after Sat. You got me wondering now. I figured that it would be time to tap by the 7th of March, here.
The forecast shows temps of 34 degrees for a high on the 5,6,and 7th and rest up to the 12 of March it shows below freezing at 26 to 24 degrees as a high. As we all know that can change for the good or worse. Tomorrow is a good day at 45 degrees but then its down hill after that.
Great one more storm is on it's way looks like we will be waiting for one more week to tap, the only good thing about this bit of cold coming this weekend it will give me a chance to test fire the new rear pan I had custom made, now 100% lead free.lol one could only pray for a night of heavy rain to knock the snow down to at least a foot deep.
Well I must have prayed pretty hard last night it's still raining but their calling for the temps to fall by 20 degrees by 2pm today after the wind go down will see how much cleanup I have to do. Don't you just love mother nature!
