Also we tapped 199 on gravity, and 5 on buckets, for a total of 204 taps..

Man, just think of how much she has learned over the last year! Not just sugaring but construction too! And getting "Ugg"lies covered in concrete too? :o
She has learned alot... No concrete, just sand to level the block base...
The sand looked so smooth I thought it was concrete. Nice job!
Had a 170gals of sap to boil so we started at around 1530 on Sat the 11th, at around midnight we were shut down due to extremely cold temps and everything freezin up, had to drain the pan bac into the sap tank as we found a leak in it.. Good new is we went from 170 gals of sap down to about 35 to 40 gals os sap, made not a drop of maple syrup, all in all it was a good day, we know what changes we need to make so we can work on those now...
Also anyone know where We can find two 275gal IBC caged totes (food grade) at a reasonabe price???
