Any difference between a 400 and 500 series for vacuuming sap?

I just bought a 401d and like it really well. My dealer suggested it .
Not sure about 501 but I think the 401d is designed for maple sap.
It will pay for itself In the first year.

The D versions are not FDA approved. The N version is. We use the double guzzler and it works well
