The family and I went out and got about half our taps in yesterday. Weather was beautiful and the sap flowed hard. Hard enough to clear the lines of anything in there. They stayed frozen today which gives me more time to finish tapping. Pan is clean, wood is inside and I am ready to boil. I hope you all have a great season.
I spent some time in the woods today and got another 50 taps out. We have. Some buckets to get out next fated the wind dies down. The lines had some pretty good flow today. Found one squirrel chew spot but found some more trees to tap. I will be good to cook sunday for sure.
I've been away for 2 days and return to 200 plus gallons of sap. 1 gallon per tap per day for the weekend! Pretty good.!
