I started putting bags on holders today. Getting my batteries charged. I might hang a few alone tomorrow and on Saturday with my son and his buddies.. We are small producers hoping to make 100 gallons this year.
The new sugar shack and new 2x6 Smoky Lakes setup is all ready to go.
I'm not quite ready for fire up the drill yet but certainly am watching the forecast. Last year all we could do was watch the forecast - even for the whole month of February. I think it will happen a little quicker this year - good luck.
Last year we made 20 gallons in Jan.

We put in 225 taps today,most were running . will put in another 50 tomorrow, then I am out of taps.
