Well we are finishing out the season today. Pulled all taps and started clean up. Already making plans to have more taps next year. It's a sickness I guess. We will start filtering about 44 gallons in the next couple of weeks. I was a little disappointed with our total given the number of taps we had out (210). I have heard several other complain about production though. Looking forward to next year.
hi gavin and it was nice meeting you and al last week. sorry we didnt have a sample of our syrup to give you. nice weather for gardening now. we finished 15.5 gallons of syrup and we are already considerng improvements for next year. john
Pulled or am in the process of pulling my taps. I ended up with 3 gallons of syrup with 35 trees tapped. I was hoping for at least twice that much. I am sure my low production can be attributed to a number of things my inexperience being one of them. But I learned a lot and am already planning for next year.
