Where do o buy it I buy archboard for my evaporator without having to buy it from maple equipment dealer. I'm looking to put my archboard in with in the next couple weeks.

google it there are alot of suppliers. Usually alot cheaper then the maple suppliers.

I know the blanket type insulation is what they use in pottery firing kilns and is is carried by pottery suppliers- at a much cheaper price than the maple suppliers. Maybe archboard could be found at the pottery outfits??

Look for refractory suppliers in your area. They typically carry it. Make sure to explain to them what you're planning to do with it because there are different types of board and some are quite expensive. You don't need the stuff they cover the space shuttle with, just something good to 1900 degrees or so. I think I paid about $3 a sq. foot for mine.
