Christmas Dinner in Vermont

We are going to be spending Christmas holidays in the Waitsfield area. We are looking for a restaurant that serves Christmas dinner in the area. Any suggestions would be appreciated :-)

By far the best restaurant I have ever been to is Hen of the Wood in Waterbury... just a short drive up 100 from Waitsfield. You surely won't be disappointed! An absolutely outstanding meal!

I am not sure if they are open for Christmas dinner but a phone call would solve that problem. I'd call as soon as possible as they often book well in advance for holidays and special events.

Hen of the Wood is an excellent experience. It is however over 100b and not too close to Waitsfield. I would look into Common Man, Tera Rosa or 275 Main. All of these are pricey but excellent.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! Contacted them all and they are not open Christmas day....but we will defiantely visit them on one of the other days we are there.
