Ok heres the problem, I have 1600 taps that come to one tank and I would like to vaccum on them. But from the tank to the first tap it is 2000+ feet. So how could i get the vaccum up there with out losing too much? And to put the vaccum pump up at the taps just wouldn't work.
Any ideas??

The post titled "Dry Line Size" might help.

Best way to transfer the vacuum that far would be a dry line and the use of vacuum booster tanks. Or you could put your releaser at the first tap 2,000 ft in dumping into a small tank that runs gravity to your holding tank. Transfering the vacuum through a wet line works better when you have a good slope. Flatter lines tend to lose alot of the vacuum. My neighbor has his vacuum pump about 1800' from his tank and releaser. It is only a dry line so he gets good vacuum transfer. Either way you need to run a second line. I think you will get better performance by utilizing a dry line and some vacuum boosters
