Anyone have any current prices on what they are paying for bulk syrup?A,B,C grades.

Seeing grade A light and medium in the $3.05 to$3.15 range.

I think that is the price the packers are selling it for.

Those are prices of individual producers selling to other producers.

I bought some a couple weeks ago paid $3.05 for dark and $3.10 for light.

I think it more in the range of $2.50- $2.65 a pound for the higher grades

I with my experience will narrow it down between .40 cents and 7.00 dollars a lb.

I believe that the industry in Quebec is currently negotiating the floor price for next season. Hopefully that will be done within the next month or so. That influences (in a big way) the prices paid for maple syrup everywhere. It is a floor price though, and can go higher depending upon a number of factors, primarily supply.
