Hi got this tote/ibc for free from a friend, it had corn syrup in it and he didn't want it, so i took it. however i can not figure out what size valve is on this thing.. the outside needs a good cleaning but the inside is nice and clean.
maybe 3" or 3.5" but unsure.

what id like to do is get a reducer of some sort if i can figure out what to look for.

anybody got any thoughts on this one..

Here the cap that covers the valve opening

I think it's specific to IBCs.

Easiest to use a FernCo fitting from the hardware store (black rubber with hose clamps) and then a pvc fitting to adapt to whatever size you like.

Second the fernco suggestion, dont waste your time looking for fittings that will cost a lot more than a fernco to PVC connection.

Good to know no problems with these fittings. think a 3.5" or 4" fitting would work and fit over the treads on this?
