Go to a Refractory supply house in your area. I got K-Light RT blanket 1 x 24 x 25Ft. (p/n 150-1012:06 at Nock Refractories, LLC in Cleveland, Ohio. for $91.00 to give you an idea of price. The also have the board 1 x 24 x 36 for $37.14.

I 1st checked ebay, there are a few people on there that sell ceramic blanket. Good price but $$ shipping.
Then I called a local pottery shop and asked him where he getts his kiln supplies. I then called the number he gave me and found that since I wouldn't be paying for shipping the price was good. A full roll was $2.03/sqft or a partial roll at $2.74/sqsf. I only needed 24 sqft so I got 12 linear ft of the 8lb stuff.
The funny thing is that I tried the phonebook and searching online for local people that deal with refractory and couldn't find any thing, but once I asked the pottery guy low and behold there was a local guy. So check around there probably someone nearer than you think.

i will call around tomorrow to see if any of them have what I am looking for
I'll keep you posted, there may be others from my area that this info may help

Holy crap 37 bucks for 1 x 24 by 36 arch board. Bascom sells the same size for under 9 bucks.

That is why I keep saying look elsewhere other then maple supply places. Go to the refractory people that it was made for in the first place. One like this one www.ceramicfiberonline.com
