What is better to use for a star lift rigid or semi rigid tubing?

I like semi rigid for mine---I think either will work though. It may mean a little longer length of tubing to get onto the star correctly if you use rigid. The semi is much more flexible.

I use the semi ridged because at the top of the ladder ridgid will kink and stop working....At least it did on mine:mad:

I used 30 P tubing, I only have a 5 foot lift. I also only used 4 of the 6 ports in the star. Last year was the first time I used a sap ladder. I found out after the season that I probably had my bottom star in wrong. I had it positioned with the ports up instead of down. It worked fine, but probably would have worked better the other way.

thanks for the info. I will go with the semi. I have both but like the rigid for the lats. and semi for drops.
