Well last weekend did the september fest at Kittery and then headed up to Cabela's in Scarbourgh(sp?) Maine. Well I was looking around for X-mas gifts and some other stuff for me:rolleyes: and I was in the little food section and no offense to PA at all. and I know that Cabela's is a national chain but theey had PA maple syrup in a Maine Store. Now I know Maine had a bad year for maple but the least Cabela's could try to find a little made in maine stuff!!!! I just think it would be appropriate. I think they had jellies and jams from west virginia or something too.

They ship the same stuff to the stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota! Sells for about 11/2 to 2 times the price of that the average WI producer sells it for. The last time I looked at it in the store, the plastic jugs all had a nice layer of dust on them. I guess it shows people like to buy local!
