I've been in contact with a bakery. Initially the owner just bought some of my syrup for personal use. I suggested that maple can be used in cooking/ baking. I'm not a cook and don't know much about this. He said he's disscussing it with his food chemist. Any info out there (promotional materials, etc that look profesional) for a guy like me to help me "sell" this to him. I could be a good client.

Maybe get a bunch of recipies for baking goods in order that call for syrup and take them along. Also give them the syrup ratios to use instead of other sweeteners. I cannot remember what they are but I think it is something like 75% syrup for every 100% sugar used. Look it up. I know nysmaple.com has a pretty good amount of recipies on it. I have tried quite a few of them myself.

I have tried several times to sell to bakeries, the hardest thing is showing them that they can save money and time by making the product themselves. They all said it was easy to open the bucket and bake the product or filling. Good luck, and wish you success.
