Would You Like to Become a Sugarmaker?
The University of Vermont Extension and the UVM Proctor Maple Research Center will be holding a “Beginning Sugarmaker’s Workshop” on Saturday, September 18th, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Proctor Center in Underhill Center, Vermont. The workshop is designed for people who would like to learn how to produce maple syrup as well as current “backyard sugarmakers.” Workshops will be taught by maple experts from UVM Extension, the Proctor Maple Research Center and the Vermont Agency of Agriculture.
