I have seen a SS mailbox that looks like a sugarhouse. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Either D&G or CDL sells them, also the Amish in Chataqua county make them for a whole lot less money

Do you have a mailing address (or maybe a phone contact if possibe) for the Amish in Chataqua County? My brother used to get harness from an Amishman who was contacted thru a neighbor's phone and he would call back within a day or 2. Do you know what they charge?

Dave, When you get the address and any information would you please share it with me. I know that adkinson's used to have them but I don't see them on thier site any longer. I guess I should have bought when I first seen them.

I want a maple syrup evaorator mailbox. The arch doors would be opened up to insert the mail. Only problem is I believe it has to be a certified mailbox to receive the mail.

I sent Adkinson an email request and I did get an answer.$ 259.00 plus taxes and S&H. I would say somewhere near 300 bucks total.

3rd gen,
You can get around the approval thing by having a regular box inside whatever shape you want on the outside.

Some of the beat up boxes that I see around the country I don't see where a nice SS box would be a problem.

I can't remember his first name last name is Hirshburger. He is on snow hill rd just outside of Conewango Valley. I don't know the price, I would like to have one, but it would make to nice a target for the plows. I think a friend of mine has his business card, I will see if I can get it. He has done some real nice tin work in stainless for me. My canning tank was about a third the price of Leaders.

Ziggy, That sounds good. Let me know if you find the info. How to contact is most important.

I searched Snow Hill RD in NYS. Would it be a Randolph, NY mail address?

Today I put up a std mailbox until I find what I want. I've been saying I should have a mailbox at the sugarhouse for 6 or 7 years. I finally did it.
