At Webbs last year i paid $68 FOR 500 FT. OF 3/4 INCH. You will not find a better price.

Why not go to your local dealer or to Leader in Vt, I have found blue cheaper than black at local plumbing supplier.
Don't buy blue Cresline from the locale plumbing supply because they only put enough UV protection to protect it while in the yard. I don't know about other brands just Cresline, that is what their tech rep told me.

When I bought mainline last year, Webb was significantly more than GG.
<$0.14/ft is a great price on mainline.
I'm going to be buying a bunch this year and will give GG, Webb, and the John Deere place a call. Also will get prices from some maple suppliers. You can also buy it straight from the producer in Portland...I don't know what the manufacturer's name is.

I use 100 psi and I get the 160 staight pieces from lowes, for plumbing around where it needs to be staight and not attached to wire. but use caution the 100 psi can kink very easily.
I only need about 150 ft of 3/4 and 300 ft of 1 inch so I will probably just go to webb for that. But I think I am going to get an account with them. do they have a minimum limit you have to buy per year?
josh if you get the tubing from portland how much is frieght on that? I guess if your special ordering through webb or GG then they price accordingly.

I am in negotiations With Granit Group try to get a better price than $.21per foot witch is there current price. I think they should be able to do better than that since i am ordering 3000 feet. prices so far from other suppliers have been a little higher with Bascom's at $.22per foot webb's at $.32 per foot and local suppliers being $.35 per foot. If any one wants to up the footage with me to get better pricing PM me

I think in order to get the really good prices from any of these suppliers, you need to order at least 20,000 feet of a particular size.
What one of the other posters mentioned about kinking was right. I've found that if black is installed in cool weather, it will get wobbly during warm weather. Doesn't look as if it was installed properly with all the wobbles.
The black pipe is not nearly as nice to work with as blue mainline.

I installed mine when it was around 60 or so degrees pul it very tight and start to tie in the middle and put in ties every 10 ft then in half and so on until I had all the ties in place. and worked my way to the ends tighting as I go. No snaking!!!
