Rotaton of membrane

First year using Lapierre RO. Was wondering as I put the membranes to bed for the year if anyone rotates the membranes for the next year. Pull the cap off the permeate tube put it on the other end along with the ucup seal and insert into pressure vessel.:?:

The membrane is designed to be used the way it was shipped to you. You should not take the gasket off and switch ends .

The center tube on my membrane is shorter on the end that the U cup goes onto. It wouldn't work if I turned it over.
