Can anyone tell me roughly how many gallons of sap it takes to fill a 2x8 drop flue evaporator to 1" to 1 1/2" level. Thanks Jeff

It takes me aprox 20 gallons to fill my 2x8 to at least 1".

Hope this helps, I have a 2x8 Leader welded with 7.5" flues and it has 8 flues! :D

Thanks Brandon I have not even sugared the pans yet just got my first decent run yesturday. I have about 100 gallons so maybe I'll flood the pans today. Thanks Jeff
