What do you suppose they mean by 7500 Gal a DAY?

How many hours do they run in a day? 8, 12, 24 ???

Makes me suspicious just because they don't give a number that you can compare to any other unit.
No mention of motor(s) power either.

It says that will convert 105 gallons of 2% sap to 8% in 1 hour. My calculator tells me that that is only 2520 gallons per 24 hour day.

tried to contact them last fall when I was shopping around- but didn't get much of a response- perhaps other folks have had better luck...

That's not such a great deal for a 100GPH machine...

i own an ro produced by the waterguy in ohio. absolutely the best investment i have made in the maple business. it works better than advertised! you can buy one of the high priced units through one of the three companies in the maple industry, or save thousands of dollars and buy a better one from THE WATERGUY. i'm happy to show mine to interested maple producers.

The 105 gallons an hour is a typo. They meant it is supposed to produce 105 gallons of 8percent in an hour. The machine is a 300 gallon an hour machine. I called them on this.

I have been in touch with these guys a couple of times. Bill is the guy I spoke with and he semed to take the time to answer all my questions, but the problem is that they have been making water systems for a while but the sugaring stuff is all new to them. So my opinion is that they are learning as we are. But that said I am probably going to end up with one of thier two membrane units. He is sending me more info in the mail and we will go from there.
Their phone # is 614-833-2800

I bought the 2500 model from them. I should have it tomorrow (9/9/10) Bill answered all of my questions and it seems to be head and shoulders above the hero which would have cost $2,000 more new. I am getting the complete unit for $3,600 and that includes a permeate tank for it and plumbing kit. I have always believed that you get what you pay for but maple equipment is so overpriced that I decided to take a chance. I will let you all know in March how this works out for me.
