Servey says, better luck next year, a lack of time and sap only managed 5gals. That should hold me but there won't be any sales. Anyone see a price hike in the future?

same here caseman, going to finish boiling the few gals. we got this week tomorrow and then pack it in w/ roughly the same amount of syrup, no sales this season either, except for the few i promised at the beginning. hoping for good runs next season, on the bright side firewood stack is still good and full.

I'm not a price hiker, I just can't do that. Everytime I read somewhere about price hikes due to weather, shortages, whatever, it bugs me. A bad year is just that. We don't live & die on the 20 gallons of syrup I make, I can't see sticking it to people that have bought from me for years because I'm a few gallons short.

yes mike I would have to agree I still sellmit for 30 whole sale and 35.00 out of the house everyone around me are trying to get 45.00 and they are not moving it we have made just over 500 gallons on 7700 taps terrible year. But it's not the costomers fault so why punish them

I'm over in New Milford and Sharon. I haven't logged on in a while, but I think I'm all done too. Long range on accu weather only shows one or two nights even close to below 32F. Got about 600 gal on about 85 taps. I haven't finished and bottled yet so I'm not sure of my syrup total but I generally get about 1200 to 1600 gallons of sap. WAY OFF this year.
