buckets running , lines aren't ---how come ?

I've got a bunch of almost full buckets but nothing coming out of the lines.
Can someone explain this?
the buckets have metal spouts ---tubes are plastic?????

i have always had beter luck with buckets, the lines never seemed to run like the buckets do, i know when its cold the lines can frezze up where the bucket taps dont, just another wierd thing, its like all the taps on the north side of my tress are running pretty good today not enought o boil yet but perhaps by the weekend, all the rest of the taps are dry i have some on lines to doing nothing so tommorow ill tap some more on the north side and pull the ones that are dry
