I gave a $500 deposit, and my local dealer is holding $2500 of mine.

they are still alive and well. I'd call direct to the st.albans store. Its better to call after lunch time as the morning rush is over by then

Its time to put the name of the supplier that has let you down up in lights. Not the manf but the guy with your money. A little friendly reminder that you will be posting his name on the site for all to see if you dont get answers.

Had problems with Phaneuf. Not Lapierre. Same scenario though. Ordered in April and just now got my money back from him. Would never even contact that guy if it were my last resort. All he kept telling me was he was honest. Really? Because you lie to me every time I talk to you. Saving money is not worth the head ache with him. My opinion. Buyer beware. I know some have had good luck with this guy, but more with bad luck.

I thinking along the same lines as Haynes. Maybe just maybe your local dealer is at fault. I would try contacting Lapeirre and see if the guy even got the order in. It is one thing to be late which is not good but another to be into sugaring season and have nothing to boil on.

Went to Swanton VT on friday 3-19 to pick up my pans. Gained a few day by going for a ride,at least I can say I made some syrup in 2010. May get some sap this weak end to double my production, may be to late but I still love to see steam rising. (boy are they shinny)

Supply and demand, demand is greater than they can supply. They still have 5 rigs ordered that won't be completed for this season I guess I was kinda lucky. I really was anxious to try may custom airtight, forced draft arch.

Seems there are more than one company in that boat. Wonder with the bad year we had how many people are rethinking their investments.

Rethinking the investment never. Maybe others but not me I love my new evaporator. Already making plans to tap more trees next year. Found one place that has 100 possible taps need to talk to the farmer. As far as people waiting for pans or evaporators that would suck, hopefully these companies can get caught up and deliver what's due.
