Ok will someone help a newbie out? I have a refactometer and have average sap brix of 3.... at that level how many gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup at 66?

The rule of thumb is divide your sugar content into 86
So 86/3=28.6 so every 28.6 gallons of sap will yield you one gal of syrup
