Tapped all 185 buckets March 6th then boiled March 8th. Didn't have enough sap to sugar off but got enough to boil again the next day and made over two gallons. Have boiled a couple times since and have made over 8 gallons total. All has been fancy grade. This is about a week and a half earlier than we normally start sugaring.
We do need a change in the weather to get things going again. There's about 8 inches of snow on the ground here (foot or more in the woods) so we should have plenty of sugaring left up here in the high country of Glover.
