I'm going to boil on saturday and it's going to be raining. My block evaporator is protected in my little sugar shack which is open on two sides.
I'm curious if I can expect a lot of additional boiling time because of the 100% humidity?

The evaporation rate will be slower at 100% humidity but I don't know if you will notice the difference or not. I think if you could boil sap in the desert at 10% humidity one day and then at 100% the next day, you would notice the difference. But I'm not sure you will notice the difference between 30-50% humidity and 100%, without accurate instruments to measure the difference.
I do think it will "feel like" a lot longer boiling time in the rain and crappy weather when you just want to get this boiling done already, compared to enjoying a sunny saturday and good weather! Enjoy your boiling day!
