Would it work if you put an air pump on the upper end of your mainline so you were just pushing air down threw? Wouldnt it create a vacuum on your drops as the air passed by them?

No, it will create positive pressure which is the wrong direction!

It will also push the sap that has alot of bacteria back into the tap hole slowing down production. Your thinking about the venturi effect from the air passing past the latterals at high speed. Have you been over to Clans shack :rolleyes:
