float box?

the other day while cleaning i noticed the divider in my float box. hot/cold leaks at the floor weld.seeing as though you arent going to have a syrup to sap back mix possible how critcle is that seam.i was considering just running it and getting it repaired later this summer ?does any one have any suggestions

If memory serves me right a patriot is a raised style with an external float box. If this is the case I don't see any harm if there is leakage between the divider. As long as the level is fairly close on each side there will be no transfer from one side to the other. And if you do not have a pre-heater a little cold sap transfering to the other side won't make a difference. Run it the way it is.
