Do you have a "guest book" ?

This is our first year in our new sugar shack. I'd like some ideas for a fun way to record who visits. I was thinking of using cedar shakes to make pages for a book and bind them with strips of leather.

Any creative ideas out there?

We use smooth pine boards (scraps) 5/8 thick x 6 inches wide by 18 inches long. Drill a hole near one end to hang on a nail and have people sign in with sharpies of different colors. Kids love it and folks come back to see their names on the sugar house wall. We have 4-5 boards filled in a season. (300 folks)
I was not the originator but I liked the idea and visitors seem to like it too. Its sure not formal and they can write what ever they want.
