Had a decent run yesturday in NY and collected about 3:00. I stayed warm and did not freeze up until about midnight, yet there is very little Ice in the buckets today. They must have shut down just after 4:00. Any ideas why?

Chris, I collected at 7:00 last night -- our trees are probably only ~10 miles apart -- and it was still flowing pretty good then. Noticed that my 1-tap trees were flowing much better than my 2/3-tap trees though.

Sunday it ran like crazy here and then monday came and the temp got up to about 56 degree's and the tree's toally stopped running.

Even though the snow is still on the ground and was melting it never ran.

I quess it was to warm for them??

Another thing is that if there is still snow, and the ground is frozen, there could be a lot of sap still left in the roots. Just being optimistic.
