I started tapping today 3/4/10. I must say most locals have been taped for a week or so.

Just finished mine today. About 3375 in the past 3 days. Pushed hard to finish today and got 1400 in:) Leak patrol tomorrow and will probably be making steam. Weather for the next 10 days looks good.

welcome aboard Don. We scrambled and got our 230 buckets out Tues and Wed. Had to collect 220 gallons late today to keep some from overflowing. Still don't have the sugarhouse cleaned up totally. It 's a good thing we have a 700 gallon bulk tank. May need it all by the time I get boiling this weekend.

Just finished tapping today, the wind was very cold, however the hard maple in the sun were dripping this afternoon. Looking to fire up the evaporator tom.
