Have a total of 61 taps out as of 2/28/10. Sap is just starting to run and hopefully will have enough for a first boildown on Saturday. New sugarhouse at my Son's house this year and waiting to see how it all works for us.

I will also do a first boil sat.. I have 180 taps out and 100 gal. in storage waiting to go. Looks like this weekend will be sunny and mid 40's! Hopefully when the snow goes from the base of the trees things will pick up. Have you checked for sugar content? Mine is starting low again this year.

Pretty slow at my place. I sure hope it picks up a bit this weekend. Lots of new equip. to test out.......new sugar house, new pans , new arch.
