is it good to use aluminum pots to use as a canner?

You can use aluminium for a canner but some people claim they can taste the metal in the syrup. Buy your self one of those cheap SS 20 guart pots and use that. We all know SS gets expensive as the pots get bigger but if you go to the right discount store and get one made in India or shop stick country they are not to bad of a price. I was lucky and found one for $5 with a dent in it at a store here.
