with headlamp and snowshoes i just put in 60-70 taps...im shooting for 150 or more. some were gushing at 8 pm...
Things are going good. A few hundred more taps to put in on my new tubing system and that bush will be all tapped. Then it's on the making a few repairs. So far there doesn't appear to be any major vac leaks, pulling 24-25 inches. The snow is deep, snowshoes were a must this year. So far we've collected around 3700 gallons of sap(vacuum is amazing)and made 55 gals of light amber. This is the first year for us using an RO and I can already tell you after two boils that I will never make syrup without one again!

collected 180 gallons buckets monday night, sap ran slow on tuesday. supposed to go to 32 tonight so we may get runs today and tomorrow, but I suspect season will be finished with the 75 degrees forecasted for Friday
i might hit twenty gallons maybe a bit more. not so good for 200 plus taps.
