First time use with a new 2 me press. It is a prior use unit. It works good but now I see oil or grease leaking out buy the pully weel .I wonder if the press is pluged, or is this something other than runing the press to high.I did read about 30-40 on the gage . I think it should not go over 20? I dont know it should read when the press is pluged.?

If its filtering it aint plugged. Now as far as the grease if it splays out like stelagtites from around the pully its syrup and grease. DO NOT PANIC. You need to tighten the packing nut do it when its running because if you over tighten it will stall the motor. I get a crappy mess every so often all over the pully, belt and cover. I just spray it with hot water as its running and it cleans up easy. YUP its on a GFCI NOPE never poped:)

Crack your release valve as you are running the pump. This will keep the pressure down. The higher the pressure the harder your machine is working, and its pushing it out towards the rear of the pump connected to the pully. This causes the nut to back off.Turn this nut about a quarter turn and try again.Keep trying until it stops blowing past there a quarter turn at a time. If it doesnt stop the seal will have to be replaced .
