Made My first Syrup Today!!!!!

Today I made my first syrup of the season. I made almost 3/4 of a gallon today on my half pint. 1/2 a gallon is for the guy I got my evaporator from. I brought a pint to my grandpa. And put the last 6 ounces in a glass bottle for pancakes in the morning. Hopefully I will make some more syrup tommorow.

Farmboy, Congrats on your first syrup. I have a liquor bottled filled to the top of the first syrup I ever made on a 18 x 18 flat pan over propane... Looks like your making quite a jump from a 1/2 pint to next year!!! Good Luck... Still waiting on weather here in Central Nh
