If you had the oppertunity to buy a new vac pump. What pump would you buy? Michelle

Gas or elec. I still like the oiless gast vane pumps for the small guy.

Just so the post. I guess my mother inlaw didnt like the smell of atf when at the house. Told the wife she wanted to invest in a life time of syrup. Told her to buy a new one and gave her a blank check. That would be electic. With possibly 12 to 1400 on it in the future. Keith

go with a watercooled liquid ring if you pumps is pretty much right next to the house, no oil or nothing just water, thats what id do anyway, if there was a problem with smelling the oil lol i also like the new airablo flood systems ,they pretty much reclaime all the oil, but i think your better of with a liquid ring, Get a hold of Matt Royal and he can get u a quote on one, hes a dealing is atlantic fluidics liquid rings,( probably be real hard to get ahold of on here since its close to sugaring season or is down there)
