Considering wood singles but concerned over moisture inside and sparks outside. Your thoughts?????

Georgie,
Use metal roofing it will save you in the long run and is available at many big box and ag stores.

Home Depot has it around here for $24 per 36"x12' sheet, not bad when you consider how fast it goes up and the fact it will never catch fire.....
