5/16 hookless bucket spouts

I am trying the 5/16 hookless bucket spouts and so far I am having a problem with them wiggling out of the tree when there is wind. I have tapped them in alittle bit harder but i dont really want to hit them in any further because i dont want to split the bark and cause leaking. Has anyone else had this problem with these taps? Any way to fix this problem?

If they are seated properly, you won't have them problem unless it is a severe windstorm could possibly pull maybe one of them out with the bucket and lid attached. I usually seat mine until the tapered part is almost all the way in the tree and it doesn't split the bark.
