highest sugar content seen

i was wondering whats the highest sap sugar contant people have seen throughout the years. a friend of mine stoped by today with a sample of his sap from todays run for me to test. it read 4.7%, that was the highest i've ever seen, my highest ever was 4.1%.

Ihave 80 taps in one small bush that average 4.5% Ihave seen them putting out 5.5%. Wish I had a thousand trees like that. By the way they are in a cemetary.

Thats remarkable the highest I had ever seen is 3.9. I wish I had your trees a lot less boiling

My trees usually start the season around 3-3.5%. Last year I was looking at thinning some more trees and found several 5% and even one at 7%. I wonder if they can be cloned???
