Question on Maple Grades

Anyone ever use Munsell color charts for grading? Meaning are there a few color chips that I could use for grading syrup? (Besides the standard grading kits). Is this a possiblity or am I thinking too far outside the box? Any imput would be helpful, thanks!

If I am thinking of the same color charts the problem using them might be that they are opaque and not translucent. It would give you a false comparison. If you are just using it for personal syrup and not retail go for it. But if you plan on retailing get a $16.50 temporary grading kit.
