Tapped in Cranesville with a small run

We put out 900 taps on vac friday and saturday. Collected about 200 gal of sap sunday & monday which we dumped as part of flushing the lines. Hope to collect enough sap to fill the evaporator today and then it looks like we are back to a cold snap until March.

I'm just a few clicks south of you, an I experienced the same thing on my very humble 16 tap set up. Sad to see the cold weather return - I got about 3/4 quart!

Flush the lines!!! I didn't even think of that. Oh well. Kids don't seem to mind.

Good to hear things are up and running in Cranesville. I guess my 1/2 gal. per tap run wasn't too bad. Good luck with the season!
