have some surveyors tape on about 30 trees as ones I want gone in next couple yrs. Maybe a few saw logs but mostly firewood and all have been tapped. My question is should/could these trees be double/tripple tapped this yr?
most all trees are 14-16" diamater and are 2nd quality stuff

that was sort of the point of my asking the question. for input.I have some trees w/ 4 buckets on them that overflow the buckets on a good day. Guess I will see if these flagged trees can compete

Mike - Sounds like a great experiment! Why not split them evenly with doubles and singles, and measure whether the total output is much different?
