Sorry, what? Are you trying to warm it before you take it outside? Confused.

how big(how many feet long)is the roll of tubing and what kind is it? I do all of mine in the bush. Yes, it is some time hard to un-roll a big coil through the woods but that is how its done. the colder the harder. Once you get it unrolled and supportted it will titen up just fine.

The best way to unroll it is to throw it over a stump that fits in the center of the coil, and pull the outside end through the woods where you want it to go. Let it spin on the stump and it'll unroll nice and flat. You will need to have someone at the coil to cut any tape that holds the coil together and to help keep it spinning correctly.

If you have a big operation, I found out the bigger the roll the easier it is to unroll. I bought a clam bucket from consumers power converted to a quick attach to the loader. I can buy 4000 foot main line coils of tubing for the fraction of the price. Very easy to tighten. I know theres alot of small hobbiest out there so this would be out of the question. I was always told if your going dream, you might as well dream big.

I agree about big rolls, as I just don't like having so many ends laying around, or joints in lines.

I also like to do it with a large spool. Support on somekind of frame and hook onto it with the 4 wheeler and go to the end. Secure it there and go back to the lower end and hook onto it with the 4 wheeler and stretch it. Pick up to the wire and attach it. and at the end of the day several thousand feet of mainline are up, tight and ready to go. On short rolls I do the same thing as Mike said around a stump, rock or wife if I catch her in a good mood (seldom happens) as she usually isn't after a while of this. and I always stretch it with the trusty 4 wheeler.

maplemaple2020, just connect your mainline at your starting point and uncoil like an accordian while walking backwards. When you gt to the end pull it as tight as possible with a ratchet strap. Use the "chinese finger" mesh things. It is not that hard to unroll a 100ft.
