Tapped in East Longmeadow

Today me and my brother tapped all of my trees and all of one of my neibors trees. I'm not sure how many taps. I still need to finish tommorow. I'll report back with the # of taps. My guess is between 85 and 100. Hopefully it's on the higher side. The sap was running pretty good when I started tapping but it was too cold by the time I finished for it to run. I hope to get some BIGSAP by the end of the week.

I didn't get any runs yet.I hope to get enough sap so I can boil Friday. I didn't finish tapping today but I did get my evaporator leveled.

Got a small run today. Just enough to start to sweetening the pans. I talked to my dads friend in Granby MA. He put up 600 taps today. After this seasons over hes selling his 3X8 fo me and he is getting a new one.

Today I finally counted. I have 70 taps. I'm boiling in a half pint. Yes I know I'm crazy. The evaporator is rated for between 25 and 50 taps.
