The USGS provides real-time historical temp graphs for many locations in ME and the US. In fact this particular operation is focused on water data, but many of the monitoring sites also do temp charting. Here's the site:
http://waterdata.usgs.gov/me/nwis/rt
Just click on one of the little circles on the Maine map, and it will take you to the data page for that station. You may have to try a few before you find one that has temp. Below is the graph for West Enfield, ME, for example. Perhaps somebody might find it useful to help decide when to put those taps in!
