Man, fighting a late season cold is no fun. We finally got out to the sugar bush today and out 100+ buckets. Still have many more to do back at our farm, but it's looking promising with the weather for the next week.
The folks who own the sugarbush that we tap in have been hard at work and it's all cleared out and easily accessible. Such an amazing surprise when we rolled in this morning with out trucks and gear.
Lots of photos up on our blog of our "ALMOST FINISHED!" sugar hut and of our tapping exploits this morning. Looking forward to a great season and to learning even more from the fine folks on this board.
Happy maple, folks!
